A motion-capture film made inside of the Unreal game engine. The story follows a woman as she's being hunted on a train.
Concept art was essential in discovering and designing the world of 'Ryn.' Here are concepts of Ryn, the Peacekeeper, and the train.
Motion Capture Studio
The majority of the motion for the film was captured on this stage, where we could live-link the actor's movement data to the Unreal game engine.
Both the Peacekeeper and Ryn are models we bought and I modified. For Ryn, I took her skin into Photoshop to paint stages of a techno-virus around her eye.

While unable to show the completed short, this is a few seconds of test footage. The biggest thing I took away was how helpful this whole process can be for pre-visualizing a movie.
